85 and counting!

Not much to report here. No snow cover here in the lowlands, 7° centigrades, light drizzle. And only a month till Christmas! Funny thing is, I like it this way. To be quite honest, Christmas does not mean much to me any more. Oh sure! It's OK to have a few days off from work, relax, some good food and good drink. But isn't this supposed to be something more? I'm not a religious person, on the contrary. I'm an Atheist. But Christmas used to mean more than just the religious thing didn't it? Nowadays? I think I'll pass.

On a personal level there is some cause for celebration though. I reached my first goal in weight loss. Today the scale stopped at less than 85 kg! Repeatedly! The next 5 kg will take much longer, but I'll get there by next summer.
